Getting Started
-
If you’re wanting to try our group class, we have an introductory offer: 5 classes for $65. It can be used for all group classes and is valid for 14 days from your first session with us.
All our classes are open level which means you don’t need any prior experience.
Our approach is grounded in guidance, autonomy and education, so we meet you where you’re at and will support you in building confidence, strength and a routine that works for you.
-
Kefi Studio blends Pilates, strength training and exercise science to offer a style of movement you won’t find everywhere else.
From Tower Pilates to circuit-style classes on Pilates equipment, every session is designed to build real strength, better movement and confidence that lasts.
During classes, our coaches are there to support you, observe your movement and offer adjustments, props, or alternative exercises where needed. Every cue is considered, every correction intentional, and every session tailored to your unique needs.
We give you space to take it at your own pace and make your own decisions, based on how you feel so you’re always welcome to take the pace or progressions that feel right for your body.
-
We use the Momence booking system. You can create an account and book your first class using our website or simply download the Kefi Studio Pilates mobile app.
Click here to download our mobile app
You can use the app to manage your account via our app, change payment method, cancel classes and purchase packs/memberships.
Please note, clients must be aged 14+ to attend group classes with a parent or guardian present.
-
To allow time to meet your coach and get familiar with the equipment and space before class begins, we ask you to arrive 5-10 minutes before the class starts.
For safety and to give our community the best experience, we lock the door once class starts. Late arrivals may not be able to join and the class will be marked as a no show.In our studio, Grip socks and a sweat towel are required for all classes (socks are available for purchase at the studio if needed).
Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. We do have water and cups available in the studio.
-
If you’re just getting back into exercise after a break, we suggest starting with 2-3 classes per week. This gives your body time to build strength, confidence and consistency without feeling like too much too soon.
It’s also important to listen to your body and consider your energy, mood, schedule and any other training you’re already doing. If you currently play sport or do another form of exercise, you may find that 1–2 Pilates classes per week is enough to support your routine.
Once you’re ready, you can gradually build up to 4–5 classes per week or more, depending on your goals and recovery.
Current physical activity guidelines recommend adults aim for 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity movement each week, plus strength training at least twice per week. At Kefi, our classes are designed to help you work towards this in a realistic and sustainable way, combining Pilates, strength and movement quality in every session.
-
We offer private sessions, duet sessions and small group private sessions for up to 6 people, as well as Clinical Pilates for clients who would like a more personalised experience.
Our private sessions are designed around your body, goals and needs. They can support you with movement or strength goals, injury recovery, technique, pregnancy, postpartum, or simply help you feel more confident in how you move.
Each session is guided by a highly trained instructor who will take the time to understand your movement history, goals and any areas that need extra care. From there, they’ll tailor the session using clear guidance, support and the equipment that best suits you, which may include the Tower, Barrel, Wunda Chair, Fuse Ladder and more.
To book, simply email us or fill out our contact form and our team will get back to you.

Because we have limited spaces per class, all classes need to be pre-booked via the website, the momence app or the Kefi studio pilates app.
To book using the app, just click on the studio icon and browse through the classes to book.
If booking using the website, the timetable is available under the Five Dock or Brighton Studio pages.
To cancel out of a class, as you open the app, you'll immediately see your upcoming classes. Use the red cancel button.
From the website, you will need to log in to your momence account and you’ll see your upcoming classes. Use this dropdown to find the cancel button.
-
Group classes can be cancelled without penalty up to 7 hours before the scheduled start time.
A cancellation made within 7 hours of the class start time is considered a late cancellation. If you do not attend your booked class, it will be recorded as a no-show.
For casual visits, intro offers, class packs, and Duo or Trio memberships: A late cancellation or no-show will result in the loss of the class credit.
For Unlocked memberships or passes:
A late cancellation will incur a $15 fee.
A no-show will incur a $20 fee.
This policy is in place to give other clients the opportunity to book and help ensure that available spaces do not go unused.
All cancellations must be made through the Kefi Studio app or website. We cannot accept cancellations by phone, email, social media or text message, as these may not be seen or actioned before the cancellation window closes.
-
We don't allow entry once a class has started, for safety and out of respect for the people already moving. Late arrival is treated as a no-show, so the $20 fee or credit forfeit applies.
-
How does the waitlist work?
When a class is full, you can join the waitlist, if a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will receive a text message and have 30 minutes to accept it. If the offer is not accepted within that time, it will move to the next person on the waitlist, and so on.
If you miss the text, the offer cannot be reversed, but you will remain on the waitlist and may be notified again if another spot becomes available.
We recommend keeping your phone notifications on while you are waiting for a class. Once you accept a waitlist spot, it becomes a confirmed booking and our standard 7-hour cancellation policy applies.
If you later cancel within the 7-hour window or do not attend, the relevant late cancellation fee, no-show fee or class-credit forfeiture will apply.
