COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Please take the time to read through our community guidelines.

  • To allow time to meet your coach and get familiar with the equipment and space before class begins, we ask you to arrive 5-10 minutes before the class starts.

In our studio, Grip socks and a sweat towel are required for all classes (socks are available for purchase at the studio if needed).

Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

We do have water and cups available in the studio, however cups cannot be left around the reformers as they can easily be knocked over.

  • Please make sure you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the beginning of the class.

The door will be locked when the class commences, so latecomers may not be able to join as their tardiness can disrupt the experience for our other community members. Being late will result in the forfeiture of the session and be marked as a No Show.

Empty reformers at the start of class will be given to our waitlisted clients or walk-ins.

Always check in with your teacher at reception before class, so they can mark you as attending.

  • Group classes can be cancelled without penalty up to 7 hours before the scheduled start time.

A cancellation made within 7 hours of the class start time is considered a late cancellation. If you do not attend your booked class, it will be recorded as a no-show.

For casual visits, intro offers, class packs, and Duo or Trio memberships:

    • A late cancellation or no-show will result in the loss of the class credit.

    For Unlocked memberships or passes:

    • A late cancellation will incur a $15 fee.

    • A no-show will incur a $20 fee.

This policy is in place to give other clients the opportunity to book and help ensure that available spaces do not go unused.

All cancellations must be made through the Kefi Studio app or website. We cannot accept cancellations by phone, email, social media or text message, as these may not be seen or actioned before the cancellation window closes.

  • When a class is full, you can join the waitlist, if a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will receive a text message and have 30 minutes to accept it. If the offer is not accepted within that time, it will move to the next person on the waitlist, and so on.

If you miss the text, the offer cannot be reversed, but you will remain on the waitlist and may be notified again if another spot becomes available.

We recommend keeping your phone notifications on while you are waiting for a class. Once you accept a waitlist spot, it becomes a confirmed booking and our standard 7-hour cancellation policy applies.

If you later cancel within the 7-hour window or do not attend, the relevant late cancellation fee, no-show fee or class-credit forfeiture will apply.

  • If your pregnancy is uncomplicated, you feel well enough to exercise and your healthcare professional has not advised otherwise, you are welcome to continue attending our classes throughout your pregnancy.

Our instructors are trained in pregnancy exercise guidelines and can provide wedges, props and exercise modifications where needed to help you move safely and comfortably.

For more tailored support, our Private and small-group Studio sessions offer personalised programs using a variety of equipment.

Your instructor will complete a thorough assessment and design each session around your body, stage of pregnancy, comfort levels and goals. These sessions may be especially helpful if you are experiencing pregnancy-related discomfort, managing an injury or would prefer more individual guidance.

After giving birth, once you feel ready to return to exercise and have received clearance from your GP or healthcare professional, we would love to support you.

  • Full-time students and eligible Health Care Card holders can access discounted pricing at Kefi Studio.

We offer a discounted 10-class pack for $240 and an Unlocked Membership for $69 per week. Valid proof of full-time enrolment or a current Health Care Card is required to access and maintain these rates.

To get set up, email hello@kefistudiopilates.com.au with your proof of eligibility.

  • Let your teacher know before class if there is any information regarding yourself or your well-being that we should be aware of.

This will allow us to make necessary accommodations during the class. Feel free to share how you are feeling on the day and any specific instructions from doctors or specialists.

Our teachers will be by your side during the session, providing guidance and presenting you with alternatives. You have the freedom and encouragement to make your own decisions when it comes to movement.

  • We offer private sessions, duet sessions and small group private sessions for up to 6 people, as well as Clinical Pilates for clients who would like a more personalised experience.

Our private sessions are designed around your body, goals and needs. They can support you with movement or strength goals, injury recovery, technique, pregnancy, postpartum, or simply help you feel more confident in how you move.

Each session is guided by a highly trained instructor who will take the time to understand your movement history, goals and any areas that need extra care. From there, they’ll tailor the session using clear guidance, support and the equipment that best suits you, which may include the Tower, Barrel, Wunda Chair, Fuse Ladder and more.

To book, simply email us or fill out our contact form and our team will get back to you.

  • We welcome teenagers aged 14 and over to attend classes at Kefi Studio.

For younger clients who are new to the studio, we recommend that a parent or guardian attends their first few classes with them. This can help them feel more comfortable, become familiar with the equipment and understand how our classes work.

All clients under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before attending. Our instructors may also recommend a more suitable class or additional support if needed, based on the individual’s confidence, experience and ability to follow instructions safely.

  • Our child-friendly classes are designed to make it easier for parents and caregivers to attend while bringing their child into the studio.

These sessions are not a crèche, so your child must remain under your supervision at all times. For everyone’s safety, children cannot play with the equipment or props, climb on the apparatus, or run around the studio, as this may be unsafe and disruptive to the instructor and other clients.

Children are only permitted in classes clearly marked as child-friendly on our schedule. Outside of these sessions, children cannot enter the studio or be left unsupervised in the reception area while you attend class.
